The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry ACCI is set to inaugurate its 12th President, Chief Emeka Obegolu following the tenure completion of Almujtaba Abubakar.
A statement by the Media/Strategy officer of the Chamber, Olayemi Mensah said the event is Scheduled for February 8th, as ACCI inauguration comes up every three years marking the smooth transition to the next administration of the Chamber’s leadership.
“Obegolu, SAN, who took office on December 14th, 2023, was elected as the 12th President by the ACCI governing body. He is presently leading the Organised Private Sector in the FCT,
“The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry remains committed to playing a pivotal role in fostering the region’s economic growth, collaboration, and innovation. Beyond the official proceedings, the event will provide valuable networking opportunities for business community members, community leaders, and Chamber members, contributing to the overall growth of the Abuja business ecosystem,” the statement added.

ACCI also noted that the event will host the Minister of Trade and Investment, Doris Anite where she will interface with private sector on how to move the sector forward.
