Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule has said the state government is not involved in the setting up of the Fulani Vigilante Group recently constituted in the state.
The governor, who exonerated himself and the state government from the inauguration of the Fulani vigilante group, made this known while playing host to members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Mr. Danladi Jatau to congratulate him over the Supreme Court victory in Government House, Lafia on Monday.

He affirmed that his administration would continue to promote peace in the state, emphasising that the security agencies are already investigating the issue of the Fulani Vigilante.
He said if the action was from the government, a bill to that effect would have been sent to the state assembly for consideration.
Earlier, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Danladi Jatau said that they were in the Government House to congratulate Governor Sule on his Supreme Court victory.
