Insurance firm donates equipment to hospital

AXA Mansard Health Limited, one of Africa’s biggest health insurance companies and a member of the AXA Group, has donated a digital ultra-scan machine to the Ikorodu General Hospital, Lagos.

The donation, which was made by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Tope Adeniyi, was the first in the series of medical equipment donations that the company planned for government hospitals across the country.

Adeniyi said the decision to embark on the donations stemmed from their continued commitment to acting for human progress by protecting what mattered.

He noted that the company understood that healthcare was crucial for its message and innovative work on wellness to resonate.

Adeniyi said, “So, our presence here and this donation is another step in making good on our purpose and the promise of wellvolution we made last year during our 10th anniversary.

Reacting to the donation, Deputy Medical Director of Ikorodu General Hospital, Dr Nurudeen Onaolapo, thanked AXA for the donation.
