Detectives from the gender unit of the Lagos State Police Command have dragged a 28-year-old trader, Jimmy Manaseh, before an Ogba magistrate’s court for allegedly having anal sex with a 10-year-old boy.
The defendant was said to have lured the boy into his shop at the Tejuosho Market in the Surulere area of Lagos on the pretense that he was going to send him on an errand but ended up engaging him in anal sex which resulted in injuries on the victim.
The defendant pleaded not guilty.

The Magistrate, Mrs O. A. Layinka, ordered his remand in prison pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice.
