The Kaduna State Government yesterday began a 5-day capacity building training for 60 technical teachers and instructors of technical colleges and secondary schools across the state.
The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Andrew Nok who declared the training open, said the training was to enhance the learning outcome of students in technical skills.
Professor Nok who was represented by his Permanent Secretary, Malam Adamu Mansur, said, “It is our desire is to build an army of entrepreneurs from our technical schools and to get there, we need skilled technical teachers and instructors.”
The Chief facilitator of the training, Alhaji Abdu Gambo stressed the need for technical teachers and instructors to be skillful in practical skills.
