FG to tackle round-tripping, other corrupt practices in dry season interventions

The federal government said it would tackle some of the challenges observed during the ongoing wheat dry season farming in the 15 participating states.

The Minister of Agricultural and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari stated this Thursday when the governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja.

The minister listed some of the challenges to include “Reported cases of round-tripping in connivance with agro-dealers and poor validation of farmers’ data in parts of the participating states.”
