A Magistrates’ Court has ordered the remand of Yusuf Haruna in a correctional centre for allegedly stabbing an imam, one Malam Sani Shuaibu, to death.
The incident happened last week in Kano ancient city.
The prosecution counsel, Barrister Fatima Ahmad, informed the court that on 31st of December 2023, 19-year-old Yusuf Haruna of Tudun Nufawa used a sharp knife and stabbed Imam Sani Muhd Shuaibu on his back, an action that led to his death.
