MKH Boss seeks real estate industry restructuring, wants unlicensed developers eradicated

CEO of MKH Properties Limited, Dr. Muibi kehinde Hammed, has called on developers to uphold ethical practices, stay informed, and contribute to the industry’s positive evolution.

According to him, a government-supported platform, Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority(LASRERA) backed by key government parastatals, must foster an optimal business environment and transparent Real Estate Sector, conforming with International best practices while safeguarding the interests of all Stakeholders.

He spoke during the 2-day Real Estate marketplace and exhibition that housed dignitaries and government officials in housing, lands, real estate, approval, regularization, customer protection agency, mortgage, insurance, and technology, both from the private and public sectors.

The Lagos State Government, led by Governor Babajide Sanwolu, represented by the Honorable Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Moruf Akinderu–Fatai, was on ground.

Speaking into 2024 on advocacy, education, digitalization, and collective enforcement, Dr Muibi Kehinde Hammed, recommended eradicating unlicensed emergency developers and several others

He also advised the Government to eradicate Emergency developers who do not go through the proper channel, LASRERA, to own a license before operating.

He also advised the Lagos State government on the benefits of partnering with Academic Institutions to provide periodical training and workshops to educate people.

He also appreciated the Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Hon. Barakat Bakare, and the audience, realtors, stakeholders, developers, among others.
