The Ogun State Government has directed all heads of agencies and departments of government in the state to improve on their Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and encourage workers under them to embrace the health insurance scheme.
The Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, made the call during an unscheduled visit to some selected agencies of government, especially those under his office, to spur them in the New Year.
Fagbohun, who was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Service Matters, Mr. Oladipupo Ogunfowora, as well as directors from the bureau, said workers should work hard to boost the state’s IGR, to enable the present administration to fulfil its ISEYA mantra.
He stated that enrolment into the Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme (OGSHIA) would help cushion the cost of health management which was becoming unbearable.
