The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christ Musa, has assured officers who were wounded in the course of service that they would do everything possible to get them back to work.
General Musa who was at the Giginya Barrack, Sokoto on Tuesday reassured the officers that they would not be left alone.
“Take this as your destiny. We thank God that you are still alive and recuperating.
“Be rest assured that we will do everything possible to get you fully recovered and go back to work.
“We will look into all your challenges and address them squarely.

“We are concerned about your plight and we will make sure you are doing well,” he reiterated.
To troops, General Musa encouraged them not to get tired, saying Nigeria would be free from all forms of criminality.
“ I know we can do it because we have the capacity, the ability and commitment to fight our enemies, to make Nigeria free.
“I am ready to give you the best support to perform your duty optimally,” he assured. He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for all the support he has been giving to armed forces in the face of the country’s security challenges.
He denied there was no synergy between security agencies, saying security agencies were working collaboratively to secure the country.
