Paramount traditional ruler of Tiv people worldwide, Tor Tiv, Prof. James Ayatse, has described the attainment of 70 years on earth of his son and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, as a mark of God’s special grace in his life.
Ayatse in his message on Wednesday to celebrate Akume noted that he has demonstrated spectacular leadership qualities in every position he found himself from being permanent secretary, governor, senator and minister of the Federal Republic as well as now SGF.
The Tor Tiv, while praying to God to grant Akume more decades of good health and strength to sustain his top performances in every assignment bestowed on him, also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding his son worthy of a higher position in his administration.
He assured President Tinubu of the full support and cooperation of the Benue State Council of Traditional Rulers which he chairs, adding that Akume has never been found wanting in all his assignments.
The royal father further urged the SGF to carry out his duties with his usual commitment to foster the peace and unity of Nigeria.
