Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule has tasked all Christians across the 13 local government areas of the state to use the Christmas period to practice the good virtues of Jesus Christ by sharing love and remain prayerful, and respectful of leaders.
The governor said remaining prayerful and respectful of leaders will enable the people to overcome the difficulties of the present situation, particularly the state of insecurity and economic hardship in the country.
In his Christmas message signed by the Acting Governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, Sule felicitated with the Christian community in the state on the commemoration of this year’s 2023 Christmas celebration and calls for sober reflection and reaffirmation of moral rectitude as exemplified by Jesus Christ.”
He said, “You are already aware that the birth of Jesus Christ symbolises love, peace and humility for humankind. It is for this reason that Jesus Christ epitomises self-sacrifice, good neighbourliness, charity and reconciliation among the human race.

While reminding all Christians in the state on the significance of this sacred period, he urged them to pray for the sustainable peace, health wellbeing and prosperity of the nation, noting that this period epitomizes immense blessings and sacrifice and admonished to remain resolute in their prayers for harmonious co-existence of the people of Nasarawa State and the country at large.
