The Edo State Police Command has arrested 14 suspects allegedly involved in cult-related crimes in the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Dankwara, while parading the suspects following a clampdown on criminal elements in the state, said the police raided criminal hideouts and black spots at Third East Circular road where the suspects were arrested.
The commissioner said the command has embarked on a clamp down on cultism from this month with a view to ensuring a peaceful yuletide.
He said the suspects would be charged to court. Dankwara warned criminals to relocate from the state as the police would not rest till they rid the state of criminal elements.

He, therefore, called on the people to always give useful information to the police to be able to nip crime in the bud, saying security is everybody’s business.
