The Commissioner for Information, Youths, Sports and Culture, Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed, disclosed this to journalists shortly after the council meeting presided over by Governor Umar Namadi.

Musa said the approval followed the deliberation on a memo presented by the commissioner, Ministry of Lands, Housing and Regional Planning, on the need to address the accommodation deficit among residents in the state.
