Police rescue kidnapped woman in Kaduna

The Kaduna State Police Command has said that its operatives rescued a kidnapped housewife in the early hours of Sunday.

The command’s spokesman, ASP Mansur Hassan, said, “At about 0100hrs on Sunday, our operatives received a call that a group of armed men…invaded a residence at Dogarawa area of Sabon Gari, Zaria, and kidnapped a housewife aged 37.

“On receiving the call, our patrol team rushed to the scene and pursued the criminals. Due to our firepower superiority, they abandoned the kidnapped victim, which led to her rescue.” (NAN)
