‘NUC approves 30 courses for Hensard varsity’

The Vice-Chancellor of Hensard University, Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State, Prof. Dileep Kumar, yesterday said the National Universities Commission had approved 30 courses for the institution.

The VC, in a statement in Abuja yesterday, said the NUC approved the courses after its resources verification inspectorate team had a final look at the facilities at the university.

He stated: “There’s a buffet of 30 courses to choose from and as has been stated we would avail students the best teaching and learning experience in the conducive environment of Toru-Orua.”

He listed the courses as including Agricultural Economics and Extension Services, Agronomy, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Animal Production and Husbandry, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, History and Diplomatic Studies, Languages and Linguistics, Performing and Creative Arts, Philosophy and Religious Studies, Political Science and International Relations, Procurement and Project Management.
