Adedimeji Lateef Bags Honorary Doctorate Degree

Congratulations are in order for well-known Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji, as he has received an honorary doctorate from Estam University in Cotonou, Benin.

The actor shared the wonderful news with his fans and coworkers, admitting he felt emotional wearing the robe. Adedimeji posted a video of the brief ceremony in which he shook a man handing him his certificate and donned a graduation robe. Additionally, he took photos with a few of the university’s top officials.

The actor, who previously talked about his remarkable progress, stated in his caption section that he was never interested in being famous and that his main goals in life are to be happy in his work and to inspire other people.

He further said that he was shocked to receive a Philosophy in Art and Culture degree without facing exams, invigilators, and midnight studying.

The thespian stated, “I find the irony to be quite fascinating. I stay up late to perfect my lines and facial expressions, and now I’m being rewarded with what may have been if I had done it for school. I humbly reintroduce myself, I am Dr. Abdullatelef Adedimeji Adetola, and I am a doctor of philosophy in art and culture from Estam University in Benin.”

The actor’s wife Mo Bimpe gushed about him on social media. She mentioned that he had added to his extensive collection of titles in her life with another one.

Additionally, she said, “I am proud of the guy you are, the husband of my youth and old age, the one that keeps motivating me to do more. Thank you for always making momma proud and I’m sure there’s more to come.”
