Soldiers from the 6 Brigade Garrison of the Nigerian Army (NA) in Jalingo, Taraba State, have arrested two suspected kidnappers, Awwal Bobo (32) and Sallau Abdul (33), and rescued two abducted persons, Mrs Fauziyya Yusuf and Abdulsallam Abubakar.
It was gathered that the soldiers captured the suspects and rescued the victims around the CBN/Baba-Yau area of Jalingo metropolis on Sunday.

It was further gathered that one the rescued persons had been reunited with his family while the other was under medical attention before beieg handed over to her family.
The Commander of the 6 Brigade, Brigadier General Frank Etim, who commended his troops, appealed to people in the state to cooperate and support the security agencies by providing useful security information to enhance prompt response.
