The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has warned travellers bound for Saudi Arabia and other countries that all airports across the country have been provided with equipment and facilities to detect hard drugs and other contrabands.
The National Commissioner in charge of Policy, Personnel Management and Finance, NAHCON, Alhaji Yusuf Adebayo Ibrahim told journalists in Ilorin, the KWARA state capital that apart from machines computed to carry out stipulated functions, the security committee of NAHCON, officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and other security agencies had been working to avoid any act of criminality either within or outside the country during this year’s hajj operations.
