Police nab 5 suspected cultists in Delta

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested five persons suspected to be secret cult members.

City & Crime reports that the suspects were arrested on Kelubia Street, Agbor-Obi in Ika South LGA and in Ogwashi-Uku on Ubulu-Uku Road in Aniocha South LGA.

The spokesman of the command, Bright Edafe, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the suspects were arrested with military caps, boots and wraps of hemp, adding that one Queen Mba, a female, was among the suspects.

He gave the names of the other suspects as Ogbolu Peter, Justice Nmor, Precious Odilu and Chigozie John.

He said other items recovered from them included three locally made cut-to-size guns, one AK-47 magazine loaded with five rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, live cartridges and two Vikings secret cult berets.
