A mother of three, Mrs Rashidat Bashir, on Tuesday, asked an Area Court, Centre-Igboro in Ilorin to dissolve her marriage to her husband, Ashomu Bashir, over accusation of infidelity.
The petitioner told the court that she was fed up with the marriage, saying the respondent had stopped performing his parental responsibility, both as a father and husband, long ago.
“I want this divorce because I’m tired of the stress and the psychological trauma.
“I’m the only person responsible for the house feeding, upkeep and even the three children’s school fees because my husband refused to provide for them.
