Authority in charge of the Seme Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, on Tuesday, said it facilitated a total of 41,867.88 Metric Tonnes of exports with FOB value of about N8.3 billion between January and October, 2023.
This is even as it said it also realised N3.05 billion revenue from imports in the same period under review.

The Customs Area Controller, Seme Area Command of the Service, Comptroller Timi Bomodi, made this disclosure while showcasing some of the seizures recorded by the command in the last ten months.
Bomodi, said the export involved 1,048 truck load of export products valued at N8.299,767,340.57 billion
He said the Nigeria Export Supervision Scheme (NESS) paid in the same period was N41.51 million while the surcharge paid for the period under review was N40.531 million.
