Soludo declares zero tolerance on touts

Governor Charles Soludo has said the Anambra State government has zero tolerance for miscreants, touts and criminals.

The governor stated this on Tuesday after a closed-door meeting with Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He said security, law and order were the priority of Anambra State.

Soludo further read out the riot act warning that miscreants, criminals and all touts involved in extorting and expropriating innocent citizens through illegal revenue collection should desist hence they will face full wrath of the law.

He stressed that Anambra is a home of commerce and the government will not condone harassment of citizens by touts.

The governor assured that the Anambra State government is ready to train as many as those interested in skills acquisition and will also provide start-up funds for their take-off.
