Kebbi State government on Monday signed a N3.8 billion contract with China Zhounghou for the rehabilitation of Yauri township road projects.
The Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engineer Abdullahi Umar Faruk said the contract involved the rehabilitation and construction of roads.
These include Local Government-Dawanau Junction, Market Roundabout, Tashar Garkuwa, Garkan Duku Liberia Junction and Police Station/Union Bank roads at cost of N3, 854,207,229. 09.

He said the signing of the road projects was in line with Governor Nasiru Idris’ urban renewal programme to give facelift to the state capital, Birnin Kebbi, the four emirates headquarters, the three senatorial districts and 21 local government headquarters.
