Gunmen on Thursday abducted two siblings in Bmuko community off the Dutse-Bwari highway in Bwari Area Council of the FCT.
City & Crime also learnt that a sachet water producer in the community was recently kidnapped in his house in the Tipper Garage area.
Bmuko hosts mining sites, with trucks conveying gravel from there to other parts of the FCT.
Speaking to City & Crime on Friday, the landlord of the siblings, Michael Uwaipo Sylva, said, “They first broke into my neighbour’s apartment, who happened not to be around, before they broke into another apartment and abducted the two victims.

“The male victim was able to escape from the kidnappers as they were leading them into the bush, but they went with the female victim.
“The kidnappers established contact with the victim’s family and demanded N1m.
The Chief of Bmuko, Ibrahim Y Dangana, who confirmed the incident, described it as the first of its kind in the area.
