COAS raises concern over official documents leakage

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has expressed concern over what he described as the ‘recurring leakage of official documents’ and charged chief clerks with effective office management to reverse the trend.

Speaking at the opening of the 2023 Chief Clerks convention in Kaduna Tuesday, he charged the 450 participating clerks who he said are custodians of official documents and sensitive information to resolve to ensure the threat is decisively addressed.

The COAS was represented by the Chief of Staff, 1 Division, Brigadier General Moses Gara.
