The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested 14 suspected rustlers, drug barons, thieves, and cable vandals.
It also recovered one motor vehicle, one motorcycle, a bull, three goats, cables, and illicit drugs.
This is contained in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam and made available to newsmen on Thursday.

The statement read: “On 01/10/2023 at about 1200hrs, the patrol team attached to Jahun Police station, while on patrol along the Gujungu road, arrested one Yakubu Abubakar, 30, of Kadowawa village, Jahun LGA, Ibrahim Buba, 25, of Kwanda village, Kiyawa LGA and Ahmadu Mohammed, 35, of Ganuwar Kore village K/Hausa LGA in possession of three goats strongly suspected to be stolen.
“On interrogation, the suspects confessed to having stolen the domestic animals from Kiyawa and K/Hausa LGAs respectively.”
