Operatives of the vigilante group at the Kwarin Barka Unit area of Sabuwar Gandu, Kumbotso LGA, have arrested three suspects for robbing the Mangwarori community.
The Operations Commander of Vigilantes, Kwarin Barka Unit, Hassan Na Yahya, said the suspects armed with knives invaded many houses in the area around 3 a.m. and forced people to relinquish their phones, money, and other valuables.

He said, “When we were called to one of the houses, they had already run away, and we met a man who was crying. Till today, this problem keeps getting worse. Like I said before, the issue of drug abuse is the main cause of this problem in our community.’’
He said some youths were recently caught after a robbery operation, adding that some drugs were found on them.
