The Federal Government has been urged to sustain the drive for national integration by ensuring that Nigeria’s history, language and her diversity are taught in schools.
The national coordinator of Project Nigeria 1st, Uche George Nwabukwu, said in a briefing in Abuja that they stand for the indivisibility, unity and dignity of Nigeria where equality and social justice is a guarantee for every citizen.
He noted that the group supports restructuring to the extent that it will engender a system of governance that guarantees transparency, accountability and equal opportunities for every Nigerian.
Nwabukwu said the agitation going on in the country threatens its sovereignty and may lead to anarchy if unresolved.
The national coordinator said Nigeria’s challenges far outweigh the various agitations and attributed the challenges faced by Nigerians to the failure of leadership over the years.
Also, the National Secretary, Otunba Ganiyu Zubairu said they were trying to create an ideology that would make Nigeria great by empowering youths and making them own up to their civic responsibilities.
