Shafa Holdings, one of the frontline indigenous oil gas firms, has opened up a multi-million-dollar gas plant in Navy Town to cater for the cooking gas needs of residents of Satellite Town in the Ojo area of Lagos.
The joint venture project which is between the Admiralty Exchange Ltd and AYM Shafa Holdings was commissioned on Friday.
The project meant many things to residents of the area who had, in the past, been starved of supply of Liquified Natural Gas (LPG) also known as cooking gas.
Speaking at the commissioning, the Executive Director of Business Development, AYM Shafa Holdings Limited, Mallam Musa Yahaya, promised that the company’s team of professionally driven workforce will ensure the uninterrupted and safe supplies of LPG to the barracks residents and those around.

He said the plant is one of the two 25mt tanks that were planned for Navy Town and that the second one will be installed as soon as demand is established.
