Counsel to Tani Olohun, Ademola Banks, urged the court to grant his client bail adding that he would not disobey all the decisions of the court.

Ruling on the matter, the presiding judge, Sunday Adeniyi, granted the prayers of the defence.

According to the trial judge, Tani Olohun must produce two reliable sureties with N5 million each in their accounts residing within the jurisdiction of the court. He also ruled that they must produce evidence of tax payment in the last seven years.

Adeniyi further said one of the sureties must have a land or house with a recognised Certificate of Occupancy (C.ofO) and a community leader in Ilọrin.

He later adjourned the case to October 23.
