A transportation investor has called for a proper synergy between private investors and Federal Government agencies saddled with responsibilities of ensuring proper and safe road transportation in Nigeria.

Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Driver’s Testing Resources Ltd. Prince Segun Obayendo, made this call during a one day workshop organized by the Federal Road Safety Commission for all driving school operators in the entire country.

About 4,000 driving schools operators were a part of the workshop which held in Abuja.

He said the collaborating is the only missing link in shaping a model in road transport policy.

Mr Obayando, while making a presentation during the workshop, reiterated the need for all driving schools in Nigeria to be a part of the new effort in forging safer roads.

While urging the participants, who were drawn from are the owners of driving schools across the country, Segun Obayando, decries wrong ways in which Nigerians toe to achieve success.

On the effective take-off of the computerized vehicle license earlier announced by the organization, he further explained that the project has been put on hold just to enable many states key into the programme which is to bring a permanent solution to issues of half-baked drivers across Nigeria.
