Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested two suspected kidnappers, Agbons Omokaro and Sule Shedu, who had been on its wanted list over alleged series of kidnappings.
It was gathered that Omokaro was arrested in Uwelu in Egor LGA, while Shedu was arrested in Okada in Ovia North East LGA.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwanbuzor, who confirmed the arrests, said the police while conducting a stop-and-search on Uwelu Road, Benin City, on September 9, intercepted an unregistered Mercedes Benz car and arrested Omokaro, while Shedu was arrested at his hideout in Okada where his victims were held captive.
