A renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Abubakar Giro Argungu, under the banner ofJama’atul Izalatil Bidi’a Wa’iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), is dead.
The scholar died on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State capital, after a brief illness.
His death was announced by the deceased sect leader, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, on his Facebook, on Wednesday.
