Three young men have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly being members of the Eiye confraternity around Joju, Sango/Ota.
Police spokesman, Omolola Odutola, on Tuesday said the arrest of the suspects followed “credible information provided by an anonymous citizen.”
Odutola said the Divisional Police Officer of Sango Ota, CSP Saleh Dahiru, who led his anti-robbery team to School 3 in Joju, Sango Ota, made the arrest.
She said the suspects, Dakwo Micheal Jackson, Joel Obieva and Oluwaseun Bamideke “were caught planning their illegal activities” at the said street.

During interrogation, she said the suspects confessed that, “They were part of a larger gang of Eiye confraternity, comprising five members, with their leader still at large.”
Odutola said the intention of the men was to meet at the school before carrying out their planned operation, adding that the swift action of the Sango police helped in apprehending them “before they could execute their nefarious plans.”
The police spokesman maintained that the police are making efforts to track down the fleeing suspects.
