Local divers have recovered two more bodies from Omo River in Ogun State following a crash along Ijebu Ode-Ore Expressway.
Daily Trust had reported that three bodies were recovered after a Toyota Sienna bus plunged into the river on Saturday.
The accident occurred around J4 area in Ijebu East Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Okpe, who told newsmen that the lone crash involved a Toyota Sienna bus marked APP830HX, had said three male occupants died, while one injured person was taken to Hope Clinic J4 for medical attention.

She said the accident was caused by speeding which led to loss of control before the vehicle plunged into the river.
However, Okpe in a terse statement Monday night disclosed that two more bodies had been recovered from the river by local divers, bringing the total of death recorded to five.
“Two additional dead bodies were found by local divers today (Monday),” she said.
Uga warned against speed violations among motorists, especially those driving Sienna and other commercial vehicles on the route.
He appreciated the efforts of the local divers for the rescue operation, while also sympathising with the families of the victims and advising them to contact the FRSC Ogbere outpost for more information about the crash.
