A four-year-old child stolen in Benue State has been recovered in Delta State by the police.
Spokeswoman of the police in Benue State, SP Catherine Anene, told our correspondent on telephone on Sunday that the child was reported stolen at Naka in Gwer West LGA of the state.

Anene said that operatives of the Benue State Police Command arrested a suspect in connection with the child theft who gave useful information about the whereabouts of the victim.
She said the arrest of the suspect led to the recovery of the stolen child.
Our correspondent earlier gathered that the victim, Atti Winifred Ngohile, was first reported missing to the police in Naka, the headquarters of Gwer West LGA, before the case was transferred to the headquarters in Makurdi.
