Thank you Mr President

We wish to thank President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for his positive reaction to an open letter written by one of our members recently with the title ‘NIN enrolment partners are being suffocated’.

We are happy and proud of his excellency’s prompt intervention in the leadership change of NIMC chief executive. This shows that the president has listened to our cry, pains and agony for being abandoned for close to two years. We are now getting closer to having our breath restored. In sha Allah we will soon breathe with relief.

Moreover, last week when the new minister of Communication and Digital Economy assumed office, he promised to pursue vigorously the National Identity Number (NIN) project in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President for accelerated security and socio-economic development.

SPONSOR AD

We wish to remind Mr President that about 20,000 enrolment officers across the six geopolitical zones whose non-payment of their entitlements for the past 20 months resulted in their socio-economic disruption and legal battle with lenders, look up to him for emancipation.

As we are matching toward the National Identity Day in the middle of September, we hope before the celebration government will direct the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy to pay enrolment officers their dues.

Once again, we appreciate the bold step taken by Mr President toward the reformation of NIMC and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.

Thank you Mr President.
