A 21-year-old woman, Hamudat, of Ile-Kangu compound in the Pakata area in Ilọrin, Kwara State, has been recovered dead after she fell into a well on Saturday afternoon.

The HOD of the Kwara State Fire Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, who disclosed this in a statement, described the victim as “mentally handicapped”, noting that her corpse was handed over to her father, Alhaji Suleiman Issa.

Adekunle noted that the Director of the Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, had severally advised the public to prioritise safety and be more careful in their day-to-day activities.
