Four persons were killed on Sunday in an auto crash on the Gumel-Kano road in Jigawa State.
Mr Ibrahim Gambo, the spokesperson of state’s command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), who confirmed the incident in a Road Traffic Report made available to City & Crime in Dutse on Monday, said that 10 other persons sustained injuries in the accident which occurred in Achauya village in Gumel LGA at about 12am.
He explained that a commercial bus (Sharon) with registration number, GML 260 XX, was involved in a collision with a BUS truck with registration number, GUS 648 XA, coming from the opposite direction.
He noted that the four persons that lost their lives in the accident were men, while those injured consisted of seven men and three women.

He advised drivers to resist night journey, speed violation and overloading to avoid accidents and loss of lives.
