David Adeleke, aka Davido, has announced the distribution of N237 million to 424 orphans across the country through his David Adeleke Foundation, DAF.
Davido announced the donation via his Twitter handle on Thursday, saying it was made possible by individuals and collaborations from different sectors and areas.
According to the news release attached to his tweet, the donation impacted a total of 13,818 children.
He said, “I’ve always wanted to use my platform to serve others. I’m thankful that, through your generosity, I’ve been able to do so.

“We recently disbursed over N200 million to several orphanages in Nigeria, a tradition that started a few years ago around my birthday. Thank you to everyone who donated. With your help, we are changing lives.
“This is what I mean when I say we rise by lifting others. These are words in action. God bless you all!”
Fans may recall that Davido fulfilled a promise he made on his birthday in 2021 by giving N250 million to 292 orphanages in Nigeria last year.
