The Chairman of the Edo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheik Ibrahim Oyarekhua, has disclosed that the state’s 430 pilgrims that performed this year’s Hajj will arrive in the state on Thursday and Friday.
Sheik Oyarekhua, who disclosed this in a telephone interview with City & Crime, said the pilgrims exhibited good conduct during the Hajj, hence that they were good ambassadors of the state in Makkah.
He said, “The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has given us Thursday and Friday for the airlift of the 430 pilgrims. The aircraft doesn’t have the capacity to airlift the whole pilgrims at once.

“The pilgrims are in two batches, the first batch would be airlifted on Thursday evening, while the second batch would be airlifted on Friday back to Nigeria.”
