Chelsea, Man City ranked in Europe’s top 10

Only two English clubs are now ranked in Europe’s top 10 clubs, according to a club ranking list by sports data company Gracenote.

Chelsea and Manchester City come in at 7th and 8th respectively, as FA Cup winners Arsenal (11th) dropped out of the top 10. However, they are still ahead of north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who moved up to 13th.

Unsurprisingly, following their Champions League title on Saturday, Real Madrid were crowned the top team for the record 12th time.

Manchester United (16th) and Liverpool (19th) have also made it into the top 20. Previous champions Leicester, who beat Sevilla in the Champions League Last 16, are ranked 48th.

The most improved English side was Bournemouth who rose from 122nd to 97th in the list, while Sunderland plummeted from 104th to 185th.

Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus round out the top five.
