The police in Kano State have arrested seven people in connection with the recent unrest in six communities in Dala LGA.
Recall that the House of Assembly passed a motion calling the attention of the state government to direct the Commissioner of Police to deploy personnel to the areas as they were being sacked by thugs.
The motion was moved by the Member representing Dala, Lawan Hussani, who said the thugs were raiding the areas as early as 7am; forcing people to close business, noting that some residents were fleeing the areas.

The police command’s spokesman, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said a team of operatives was raised and that seven suspects were arrested.
He assured that the operation would continue until peace was restored in the affected communities.
