Ezzycare launches app to fast track access to healthcare providers, others

Some medical experts under the aegis of Ezzycare have launched an innovative medical app that addresses the barriers patients face accessing healthcare providers, particularly specialists, in the country.

Tagged Ezzycare App,  it connects caregivers to healthcare providers in their area while enabling them to access quality care in the comfort of their homes or offices.

Speaking during the launch of the app yesterday in Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer of Ezzycare, Dr Torngee Malu said, “it connects people seeking medical care  to nearby healthcare providers for urgent or non-urgent care,  finds doctors in any speciality, does laboratory tests from your home and gets medicines delivered to your address.”

He said care seekers no longer need to queue at the hospital to access healthcare as it allows them to control the choice of healthcare provider, where they want to get the care, and how much they will pay, adding that it also provides healthcare providers with control over their time and earnings.

He said, “In a country like Nigeria where access to healthcare is a challenge for most people in rural areas and people in remote places, like the military in Sambisa Forest and other war zones, Ezzycare will make it easy for them to consult a doctor as long as they have a phone and internet connection.

“They can get any doctor for a video consultation. Also, people can book care seekers for their loved ones, whether they are in Nigeria or abroad. The innovative app is the future of healthcare, providing access to quality medical care anytime, anywhere.”

The Medical Director of Ezzycare, Dr Deborah O. Ojiako, said they have been receiving testimonials from those using the app including from the rural areas.

She said the medical app is “hospital in your hands and healthcare at your fingertips, the doctor, pharmacist, nurse you are looking for are only a click away on Ezzycare. The same doctors you wait  three to six months to see at public hospitals you see same-day through the app.”
