Three residents of Fegbile Estate, Lagos, Victor Eugene, Uthman Nureni and Chineye Nancy, have been arrested for allegedly releasing their dogs to attack the estate’s guard for impounding their motorcycle on Monday.
Two naval personnel who allegedly aided the attack on the guard are on the run.
It was learnt that trouble started when the guard, one Adekunle Omoyiola, refused the suspects access to Fagbile Estate because they arrived on a motorcycle around 1am, which is against the laws of the estate.
A source explained that a heated argument between the guard and the suspects followed and as a result of which the guard impounded their motorcycle.

Lagos police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the arrest, said it was a case of dog bite and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
He further said, “Aside ordering the dogs to attack the guard, the suspects also fought with the security man because he was alone
“Those in naval uniforms bolted away when they sighted the police team. However, the three suspects were arrested. The security man sustained dog bites. Effort is ongoing to arrest those in naval uniforms.”
