The International College of Aeronautics (ICA) in partnership with GuDee, a sustainable food company, has trained over 500 children on modern aviation, flight training, aerospace engineering, avionics systems designing and simulation.
Speaking during the training, Chibuikem Osuchukwu, the managing director of GuDee and BeBronz, said the Children were also taught flight simulator experiences, and robotics.
“The aim was to expose kids to modern aviation, flight training, aerospace engineering, avionics systems designing and simulation, and encouraged the Nigerian child to explore a career in aviation through experience and training.”
Osuchukwu, who praised the management of ICA for improving the aviation industry in Nigeria, pledged to continue working with ICA to promote such events across the country.
The Managing director explained that the event was targeted towards providing and accelerating the process of winning the passion of the Nigerian child, essentially towards scaling dominance in the aviation industry so as to catch them young.
He added that the event was not just a regular one but an opportunity to show the world the best talents in the Nigerian aviation industry and to encourage the Nigerian child to explore a career in aviation through experience and training.
“If you teach them how to build, they will fly what they build and once they fly what they build, they can fix what they’ve flown”.

Engineers will create the technologies needed for logistics and interlinks them with the available infrastructure in a smart way to benefit companies in need of sustainable technology in this logistics supply chain.”
On his part, the Administrator of Flight Department at ICA, Pilot Uyiosa Daniel Osagie Igiehon, while expressing gratitude to the management of GuDee and other companies that contributed to the training, said the children benefited a lot from the new knowledge of aviation.
