The abductors of the Village Head of Ketti in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the FCT, Chief Sunday Zakwoyi; one of his aides, Markus Gade; and another resident have demanded a N9 million ransom.
City & Crime had reported that gunmen in the early hours of last Friday invaded the chief’s palace and abducted him and one of his aides, alongside another resident.

An aide to the chief, who preferred anonymity, told our reporter through telephone on Tuesday that the leader of the bandits called on Sunday through one of the phones they seized from the victims and contacted a family member of the chief’s family demanding N3m for each of the victims.
There was no response from the spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, on the development.
