Roads multiple taxation: Joint tax board engages motorists

The Joint Tax Board (JTB) yesterday held a sensitisation meeting with motorists in Gombe State, on the implementation of the Single Inter-State Road Tax Sticker (SIRTS) and Single Haulage Fee (SHF).

The event was organised by the JTB in collaboration with the Gombe Internal Revenue Service (GIRS), to sensitise stakeholders in the transport sector, as the state prepares to implement the plan, which seeks to address the issue of multiple taxation on Nigeria’s highways.
