Detectives from the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected kidnapper, Shokki Ebis, alias Nero (33), in the Ikorodu area and recovered a gun.
The command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest, saying that the suspect was spotted in the Orioke area of Ajegunle, on May 10, 2023, around 1pm, and that upon receipt of the information, operatives of the command were dispatched to the area where he was apprehended with one locally made Dane gun.

He added that, “In the course of investigation, the suspect confessed to being a member of a kidnapping syndicate terrorising Ikorodu down to Redeem Christian Church of God in the Ogijo area of Ogun State.”
